Job Description

  1. Assist customers, including farmers, agricultural producers, and equipment operators, in identifying and sourcing the correct parts and components for their agricultural machinery and equipment needs.
  2. Utilize product knowledge and technical expertise to recommend suitable replacement parts, accessories, and aftermarket components for various types of farm equipment, including tractors, harvesters, planters, and implements.
  3. Interpret equipment diagrams, parts catalogs, and manufacturer specifications to accurately identify part numbers, descriptions, and compatibility information for agricultural machinery.
  4. Process parts orders, including receiving, picking, packaging, and shipping, in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Maintain accurate inventory records of agricultural parts and accessories, monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and replenishing inventory as needed to minimize stockouts and backorders.
  6. Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, service, and logistics, to coordinate parts availability, order fulfillment, and delivery schedules, ensuring seamless customer service and support.
  7. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and service technicians, including diagnosing equipment issues, recommending repair solutions, and explaining parts installation procedures.
  8. Process warranty claims and returns for defective or damaged parts, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers to facilitate timely replacements or refunds for customers.
  9. Utilize computerized parts management systems and software tools to track orders, manage inventory, generate reports, and analyze sales data for performance evaluation and decision-making.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, new product releases, and manufacturer promotions in the agricultural equipment parts market, attending training sessions or workshops as needed to enhance product knowledge and skills.
  11. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards in all aspects of job performance, including proper handling of parts, equipment, and customer interactions.
