Job Description

  1. Identify and prospect potential customers within the designated territory, including farmers, growers, and agricultural producers, to expand the customer base and achieve sales targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication, farm visits, and providing personalized agronomic advice and solutions.
  3. Promote and sell a range of agronomy products, including fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and other crop inputs, by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products and services.
  4. Collaborate with agronomy specialists and agronomists to develop comprehensive crop management plans and agronomic recommendations tailored to each customer's unique requirements.
  5. Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and educational events to showcase the benefits and efficacy of agronomy products and technologies, and to educate customers on best practices in crop production.
  6. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to secure sales agreements and ensure profitability, while also providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, and adjust sales strategies accordingly to maintain competitiveness and capitalize on opportunities for business growth.
  8. Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics, operations, and customer service, to ensure timely delivery of products, resolve customer issues, and provide seamless end-to-end service.
  9. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence using CRM systems or other relevant tools, and generate reports and forecasts to track performance and support decision-making.
  10. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including safety protocols, product handling guidelines, and legal compliance, to ensure ethical and responsible business practices.
