Shift Available: Day Shift Day Shift (7am to 7pm)
Compensation: $30.00/hr - $42.00/hr According with the experience

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Our HVAC Industrial Electrician Mechanic works in our food manufacturing facility with duties that include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various utility systems including, but not limited to: Plant and Processing Line Heating and Cooling Systems, Plant and Processing Line Chiller Systems, Boiler Steam Systems, and Compressed Air Systems
  • As an HVAC Industrial Electrician Mechanic you will also be trained and responsible to troubleshoot, repair and maintain other general facility and chocolate manufacturing and processing equipment such as roll refiners, conches, roasters, conveyers, pumps, blowers, valves
  • Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive HVAC and general industrial maintenance throughout the facility
  • Ability to obtain a refrigeration license as associated with HVAC equipment in a timely manner if not already licensed. (excludes Ammonia refrigerants - Universal EPA certificate desired)
  • Operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, preventative maintenance technology tools, etc.
  • Utilize maintenance skills such as electrical/ mechanical troubleshooting, and multi skill exposure to some of the following skills, such as, Electrical Motor control, PLC and VFD troubleshooting, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing replacement, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems
  • Modifying or building equipment by reading and comprehending electrical/mechanical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals
  • Documenting completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary
  • Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
  • Operating forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School diploma / GED equivalent
  • Minimum two years industrial experience as a multi-skill industrial HVAC, Electrician or Mechanic, performing maintenance activities that would include at least some of the following: HVAC Troubleshooting and repair, Electrical or mechanical troubleshooting and repair, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, rigging/lifting, gearbox/bearings replacement, lubrication, pump and piping systems, or hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in an Industrial HVAC Position
  • Prior experience in Food Manufacturing
  • Prior experience troubleshooting PLC programs and process automation is a plus
  • Prior experience with safe work practices, such as Pre-Job Hazard Analysis (PJHA), confined spaces, job task permitting, etc.
  • Trade school certification or degree in a maintenance and/or HVAC related field, or related experience including related military experience
