Process Technology Manager, Health and Wellness- Various Locations
This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:
The Health and Wellness Process Technology Manager will be part of a fast-paced, high-growth platform within the Process Technology team at ADM. The Technology Manager will have responsibility to ensure maximum value is obtained by driving continuous improvement and efficient operations, supporting growth opportunities and managing capital spend. We are looking for an experienced leader who can guide a team of technology engineers and act as a technical expert in support of a variety ADM facilities on 3 different continents.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Use process knowledge to guide technology and process engineers in the optimization of unit operations and achievement of production targets.
  • Collaborate with Research, BU leaders and Operations on project prioritization and lead the transfer of new products/processes from Research to Operations.
  • Provide leadership and support for capital projects associated with NDE, cost savings and growth including the front-end loading (FEL) process.
  • Work with the process technology engineers, Operations, BU to develop and manage both the yearly and long-term capital budgets.
  • Act as a resource for H&W plant operations leaders and plant personnel with the diagnosis of operational difficulties and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Conduct optimization assessments to identify and address existing controls issues, propose solutions to complex technical problems, and recommend process improvements.
  • Support M&A diligence in support of growth opportunities for ADM.
  • Implement and track performance metrics to maintain or improve the efficiency of advanced process control and optimization applications.
  • Drive cultural change within a plant to ensure that plant processes are able to operate at optimum levels consistently over time.
Required Skills:
  • Dedication to working safely and to the awareness for the safety of others.
  • Deep understanding of a variety of process unit operations.
  • Optimization and analytical processes and tools experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with plant personnel and management.
  • Working knowledge of common process drawings and documentation.
  • Willingness to spend time in plant areas - tolerate extreme temperatures, walk long distances, stand, climb stairs and ladders and move through close spaces.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently while traveling to remote plant locations.
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in the fields of Chemistry, Food Processing, Production Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology, or other related field.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience with plant process systems.
Desired Experience:
  • Operations supervision.
  • 5+ years' experience in Process/Project engineering.
