Water Treatment Operator Trainee - Deerfield, MO
This is an hourly position.
Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Job Description:
Maintain water treatment department, including but not limited to the following:
  • Maintain boiler system, including daily blow downs of boiler
  • Monitor SIMS system
  • Monitor Chillers
  • Monitor Nalco system and Nalco chemicals
  • Monitor water levels, including treatment of incoming water with chlorine & regulating pump
  • Maintenance of Ultra Filters, including CIP & maintenance wash
  • Maintain the fire water tank, fire pump system, & fire hydrant testing
  • Change chemical totes as needed
  • Clean inlet filters daily
  • Custodial duties for the water treatment building
  • Monitor & maintain cooling tower water supply
  • Monitor RO System, reviewing/monitoring hardness levels at the RO, regenerate softener as needed
  • Air compressor maintenance, cleaning
  • Check AEDs on a regular schedule
  • Some general plant maintenance duties may also be required
In addition -applicant must be willing to work overtime. Attendance and punctuality is required, along with the ability to work independently in an organized manner.
