Data Loss Prevention Analyst - Erlanger, KY

We are seeking a Data Loss Prevention Analyst to assist in building out our Data Loss Program to detect and prevent data leakage, accidental data sharing and data theft.
The Data Loss Prevention Analyst will be responsible for designing and implementing data loss processes across the ADM network, endpoint and cloud.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data loss prevention policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Configure and manage DLP tools and technologies to monitor and protect sensitive data.
  • Continuously monitor data loss prevention systems for potential data breaches or policy violations.
  • Analyze DLP alerts and incidents to determine the severity and impact on the organization.
  • Investigate and respond to DLP incidents, including identifying the source and extent of data exposure.
  • Collaborate with the incident response team to mitigate and resolve data loss incidents.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and enforce data protection policies and standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of DLP incidents, actions taken, and outcomes.
  • Prepare regular reports on DLP activities, trends, and metrics for management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DLP technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the organization's data protection capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of Cyber Security experience.
  • Proficiency with DLP tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data protection principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with network security, encryption, and data classification.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents outside of regular business hours if necessary.
