Job Purpose and Impact

The Mixer II will combine ingredients and operate equipment and technology to mix product batches using both hand measured or premeasured ingredients and defined specifications, occasionally making basic adjustments with occasional guidance. In this role, you will maximize throughput and produce quality product while following all food safety and regulatory polices.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Transport ground product from grinding area to stuffer machine once qualified as a PIT driver
  • Ensure correct loading of product onto trays, and availability of trays at tray-loader
  • Transport and dump rework
  • Must also inspect product periodically to ensure specifications are met
  • Box and/or stack product if automated system is not operating

Required Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to read/write/speak English
  • Ability to meet medical requirements similar to those of obtaining a driver's license

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Cargill experience
  • Work history in the past 12 months
  • Basic math skills (addition/subtraction) preferred
