Job Description

  • Safely operate and drive LP gas delivery trucks to transport liquefied petroleum gas (propane) to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of LP gas trucks and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations.
  • Load and unload LP gas cylinders, tanks, or bulk containers using appropriate equipment and procedures, ensuring proper handling and securement during transport.
  • Follow established routes and delivery schedules to deliver LP gas products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor LP gas levels and pressures during delivery, and perform leak checks and safety inspections to ensure safe handling and usage of LP gas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction with LP gas products and services.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating LP gas trucks on public roads and highways.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, locations, and delivery times, using electronic logging devices or paper logs.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers, customer service representatives, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules, resolve issues, and communicate effectively.
  • Participate in training programs and meetings to stay updated on safety protocols, transportation regulations, and company policies related to LP gas delivery operations.
