Job Description

  • Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations of the agronomy branch, including sales, customer service, and agronomic services.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to develop and implement sales strategies, achieve sales targets, and grow the customer base.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to agronomy team members, including sales staff, agronomists, and field personnel, to ensure effective teamwork and performance.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels of agronomy products, including fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and other crop inputs, to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts.
  • Support customer relations efforts by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing agronomic expertise and recommendations as needed.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to monitor branch performance, control expenses, and optimize profitability.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient delivery of agronomy products and services to customers, including scheduling deliveries, managing transportation logistics, and overseeing equipment maintenance.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating agronomy team members, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to support career growth and performance improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion, new product offerings, and strategic partnerships.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards, and promote a culture of compliance, professionalism, and customer satisfaction within the agronomy branch.
