Full-time Agronomy Trucking & Logistics

Job Description

  • Safely operate and drive agronomy trucks to transport agricultural products, including fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and other crop inputs, to and from customer locations.
  • Load and unload agronomy products using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring proper handling and securement during transport.
  • Follow established routes and schedules to deliver agronomy products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities, locations, and delivery times, using electronic logging devices or paper logs.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating agronomy trucks on public roads and highways.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of agronomy trucks and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and comply with safety requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Handle and store agronomy products safely and responsibly, following guidelines for hazardous materials and environmental protection.
  • Participate in training programs and meetings to stay updated on safety protocols, transportation regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck, including interior and exterior cleanliness, and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
