Job Description
- Operate machinery and equipment used in grain handling, such as conveyor belts, loaders, and grain trucks.
- Load and unload grain from trucks, railcars, and storage bins using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing grain shipments to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Clean and maintain grain handling equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Monitor grain storage conditions, including temperature and moisture levels, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance of grain storage structures, including silos, bins, and warehouses.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries during grain handling operations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and prioritize workload.
- Keep accurate records of grain handling activities, including inventory levels, shipments, and storage conditions.
- Provide support for other tasks related to agricultural operations, such as field work and equipment maintenance, as needed.
