Position Overview: The Senior Director, Transformation Program Management is a dual-role leader responsible for both overseeing a team of Transformation Program Managers and directly managing large-scale, strategic transformation initiatives across multiple domains. This leader will guide the team in driving organizational change, aligning strategic objectives, and ensuring the successful delivery of comprehensive transformation programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, expertise in change management, and the ability to influence and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Transformation Program Managers, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
- Act as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for complex transformation challenges.
- Align team goals with organizational strategy and ensure the successful execution of those goals.
- Program Management:
- Lead and manage multiple large-scale transformation initiatives that span across various departments and external partners.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure alignment of transformation programs with the organization's strategic objectives and operational efficiency goals.
- Monitor program performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet changing business needs and priorities.
- Strategic Alignment & Change Management:
- Work closely with executive leadership to define and align strategic objectives with organizational change initiatives.
- Drive cultural and structural changes within the organization to support new operating models.
- Lead change management efforts, including business process reengineering, standardization, and automation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure successful adoption of transformation initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
- Present program updates, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, leveraging best practices in transformation program management.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive and agile.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience in change management, business process reengineering, and organizational development.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Working Conditions:- This position requires occasional travel to various business locations.
- The role is primarily office-based (4 days a week), with flexibility for remote work as needed.
