Maintenance Training Grade III - Carthage, MO

This is a full-time, hourly position.

Position Summary:
The role of Maintenance III is responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and lubrication on plant equipment
  • Record lubricant quantities applied and other data as required
  • Document inspection and service activity as required
  • Repair and replace equipment as needed
  • Electrical, Mechanical and Steam Systems Troubleshooting
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor
  • Perform cutting, welding, and fabrication when needed
  • Availability to work overtime as needed daily
  • Mandatory availability to work rotating 24 hour emergency call-in and rotating weekend shift
Qualifications/Characteristics:
  • Valid driver's license and transportation required
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude
  • Values Organization and Cleanliness
  • Ability to effectively communicate with plant management, plant personnel, and vendors
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with company/facility policies and procedures
  • Ability to work from elevated areas utilizing fall protection equipment as required
  • Demonstrated understanding of failure modes and ability to assess equipment condition, identify defects and make repair recommendations
ADVANCEMENT:
Qualified Person will advance from Maintenance training grade 3 through Maintenance A as qualifications are met and approved by the Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager.

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
