Maintenance - Velva, ND
This is a full-time hourly (non-union) position with Growth Potential at a Canola Seed Processing and Biodiesel Production facility. Work is done primarily on day shift with the possibility of overtime and call in work.

Required Skills-Candidates MUST have experience with PLC, Pumps, Fabrication, PSM, Motors and Electrical Knowledge to be considered for this position
Normal Schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm (30-min unpaid lunch break)
Seasonal scheduled shutdowns lasting multiple days will result in 12 hour work schedules.
Rate of pay: $ 28.68 to $ 29.97 /hr., depending on previous experience & qualifications

Job Responsibilities:
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and lubrication on plant equipment
  • Document inspection and service activity as required
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks; repair and replace equipment as needed
  • Electrical, Hydraulic, Steam systems troubleshooting
  • Order and inventory parts and equipment as directed and other responsibilities as assigned by management
  • Physical work out in the elements. Ability to meet these physical requirements such as prolonged kneeling, bending, climbing stairs and ladders, shoveling, sweeping and ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Support Reliability Engineers with Root Cause Analysis projects and the RCM group in the development of additional PM's, operating procedures, and equipment monitoring
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury safety culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
    • This position works directly with operations, shipping/receiving personnel, third-party contractors and requires an employee to maintain professional interactions and communication skills with various departments.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to safely & accurately perform metal cutting, welding, and fabrication is required.
  • High school education or equivalent is required.
  • Candidate must exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to respond to emergency call outs to the site in a timely manner
  • Experience in an animal feed/food production facility or grain elevator is a plus.
    • Ideal candidates will demonstrate initiative to work independently while being flexible to work as a team when needed.
