Job Description Merger & Acquisition Security Manager - Erlanger, KYPosition SummaryDrawing from deep experience, the Merger & Acquisition Security Manager will be responsible for leading the Merger & Acquisition Cyber Security Team. This role will report to the Director of Information Security, Architecture & Engineering, and will have responsibility of managing the Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture, and Joint Venture (MADJV) Security function of the company.
The Merger & Acquisition Security Manager is accountable for analyzing, architecting, engineering, implementing, integrating, and maintaining effective methods to protect ADM systems and data during MADJV process. The position ensures use of established process, procedures and standards, while recommending continual improvements through experience and leading practices. Additionally, this position interfaces with Global Technology and MADJV Leads to operationalize security requirements, enabling the business and maintaining security posture to appropriate risk levels.
Must display enthusiasm and interest in Information Security and draw recommendations based on real world experience.
Job Responsibilities- Under guidance of Global Information & Cyber Security (GICS) Directors, lead all GICS MADJV related activities.
- Manage a team of global information security professionals, including coaching, mentoring, and talent development within the team.
- Perform functions in a timely manner and with extreme level of attention to urgency, detail, and thoroughness.
- Work with GICS Directors and MADJV functional leads on recommending plans on all MADJV related activity. Use established process, procedures and standards, while recommending process improvements through experience and best practice.
- Assess security posture, identify risks, and develop strategies to mitigate / manage risks through MADJV projects.
- Interface with Global Technology and other MADJV stakeholders to operationalize security requirements, enabling the business and maintaining security posture to appropriate risk levels.
- Influence the strategic direction of the GICS MADJV program by collaborating within the broader GICS & MADJV functions to help design and implement security improvements and requirements targeted towards the unique risk, threats, and other aspects of MADJV.
- Lead team in proactively collecting appropriate and meaningful metrics to provide leadership insights and support decision.
- Cultivate and maintain MADJV-focused professional affiliations, peer relationships, and related connections.
- Anticipate problems and identify long-term implications of decisions and actions.
Job Requirements- "Full Professional Proficiency" (Inter-agency Language Round-table [IRL] level 4, or equivalent) or greater written & verbal capability in English.
- 5+ years in Global Technology, demonstrating work with Information Security, Security Governance, Audit, Risk, and Control.
- 2+ years in a Global Technology or Information Security supervisory role.
- Influencing strategic and tactical direction of the ADM MADJV Security program.
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with both infrastructure & application security layers.
- Experience with security principles and defense-in-depth techniques, based on a strong foundational understanding of Information Security Layers.
- Strong security experience related to concepts of least privilege, risk management, vulnerability management, identity and access management, access controls, and segmentation.
- Experience managing and executing large global projects with slim timelines and schedules.
- Understanding and knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and IT General Controls.
- Knowledge of third-party auditing, such as cloud, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members in a geographically and culturally diverse workforce.
- Expected to complete projects within specified deadlines.
- Expected to work some nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Expected to perform on-call duties.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Strong sense of professionalism and ethics.
Desired Skills- Current holder of CISSP and / or other industry certifications a plus.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Additional language skills a plus.
