Control Room - Jackson, TN
This is an hourly level position.

Position Summary: We are looking for high potential individuals ready to take on challenges and responsibilities. You will gain knowledge of the facility, general department knowledge, and handle tasks through completion of tasks and look for ways to improve the process and personal performance.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for movement of product within the plant to respective packaging lines.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to multitask different responsibilities including the transfer and mixing of product, performing quality checks, monitoring minor ingredient levels and supplying when necessary.
  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Able to navigate a process control system including using an HMI screen or control screens on a PC.
  • Able to navigate through a facility including working in basements and multi floor towers.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Able to interact with management and take direction from different levels of management.
  • Have a high bar on safety and won't put themselves in risk.
  • Able to learn process flows, and trouble shoot transfer equipment.
Required Skills:
  • Manufacturing experience
  • mechanical skills and aptitude preferred.
  • Ability to move about or to a work site by ascending/descending stairs, bending, kneeling and prolonged periods of standing and sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, or squatting frequently
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
Required Experience:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills (Word and Excel)
  • Experience in production and/or similar military environment (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
